RELIEF
Nestled in the central plateau is crossed to the north by the Sierra Madre Oriental and south by the Sierra Madre Occidental

HYDROGRAPHY

WEATHER

NAME´S ORIGYN
Reportedly, in what is now the state of Zacatecas four tribes inhabiting primary: caxcanes, guachichiles, Tepehuanes and zacatecos. It zacatecos of the state receives its modern name. Zacatecas was the name that the Aztecs gave the inhabitants of the region of Cerro de La Bufa. Underground Adventures in Zacatecas
